Kits Cubed
Ahmed, an engineering student at Stanford, had a special connection to this project. Kits Cubed, named after the buildable machine kits gifted to attendees, is a STEM fair held at Oakland Tech, his former high school.
This event aimed to expose students to the world of STEM fields. It began with a festive atmosphere, offering refreshments and popcorn alongside booths full of interactive exhibits. Our focus was to capture those moments of widened eyes and expressions of wonder that ignite a passion for science, engineering, software development, or any other STEM field. These experiences leave lasting impressions, and we aimed to capture the spark that could become a core memory for them that echoes throughout their future. Through our visuals, we aimed to portray a welcoming environment of exploration and curiosity.
